We are Buyer's Representatives. We look after the Buyer's interests as the listing Broker looks after the Seller's interest. We know local market conditions, laws, regulations, construction plans, and other factors that can affect the value and usability of real property. As the Buyer's agent we accept the fiduciary duties of obedience, loyalty, disclosure, confidentiality, accounting, and reasonable care (old car). This means that we (1) put your interests first, (2) follow all lawful instructions, (3) protect you from foreseeable risks, (4) keep your secrets, (5) provide you with vital information, and (6) are accountable to you. As the Buyer you may remain anonymous if you wish. We know sources of financing, appraisers, inspectors, and other real estate brokers. While we work for the Buyer, the Seller usually pays our fee. Listing Brokers like to work with Buyer's Representatives because they know our buyers are serious prospects, they have no liability for our actions, and they are less concerned about maintaining the confidentiality of the Seller.
